Position Title: Sr. Generalist / Human Resources Manager
Location: Bakersfield, CA

Position Overview: Responsible for managing general and administrative functions in Human Resources for various Weatherford locations. Provide strategic support in all aspects of Human Resources policies and procedures for all product lines.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

Work closely with all Managers/Supervisors throughout Product Divisions, determining HR and staffing needs with all product lines.

• Prepare monthly reports on headcount, personnel needs and Workers Compensation accidents
• Assist Managers with compensation information/issues
• Maintain various records to ascertain compliance with outside agencies and internal audits
• Handle employee relations complaints, concerns, and disputes
• Interview prospective candidates, verifying employment history, coordinating pre-placement exams, etc
• Administer unemployment compensation claims
• Train field personnel regarding proper procedures for hiring, terminations, corrective action, performance appraisals, legal compliance, and other Human Resource areas

Experience and Skills:

• 7 - 10 years experience in Human Resources is required. 3+ years in a “manager” position.
• PHR or SPHR certification is required.
